Bioagricert

Bioagricert is an independent control and certification body founded in 1984. In 1993 it obtained recognition from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies as a national organisation authorised to regulate and certify organic products. It has more than 11,000 certified companies and more than 25 years’ experience. The headquarters is in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna, but Bioagricert offers wide cover both within Italy, with local branches and inspectors all over the country, and internationally, with offices in China, Thailand, Mexico, Romania and Serbia, and local inspectors in eastern Europe, South America and Polynesia, south-east Asia, India and South Korea. Thanks to its support and well-integrated services, we were able to enhance our guarantees of safety and quality in our products.

IFS International Food Standard

was created in Germany and France, and is valued all over the world. It is one of the standards and methodologies that inspires our quality system. It provides a series of criteria to guarantee the healthiness and quality of food products. These rules do not replace legislation, but broaden and supplement it. IFS certification indicates that the certified producer has implemented the necessary processes to ensure a food and/or product is safe and complies with the main criteria. It is one of the food safety standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI); an international initiative whose main aim is to strengthen and promote food safety throughout the supply chain. International recognition of this standard allows us to respond to the needs of our customers worldwide.
